Originally from London England, Simon has an extensive back ground as a competitive athlete where he has competed at the national level in Swimming and Triathlon. Prior to becoming a massage therapist Simon worked as Personal trainer assisting many clients reach there health and fitness goals including muscle gains, strength and weight loss.
In 2006, Simon completed the International Therapy Examination Council Level 3 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy from St. Mary’s College in London. In February of 2011 he graduated from A New Beginning School of Massage in Austin, Texas.
Simons passion is helping everyone achieving there goals, he enjoys working with youth, athletes all the way up to elite level competitiors. As the Massage Therapist for Notre Dame Men’s Swimming and Diving team, Simon travels with the team through the season, working with the team to keep them performing at their best.
In his spare time, Simon fuels his competitive side by participating in events such as running in the Cap 10K held in Austin. He has finished in the top 10% in his age group in 4 Spartan races as a part of a goal in completing his double ‘Trifecta’ (6 Spartan races total). In June he competed in the Austin Fit Magazine Fittest competition, finishing 6th in his age group improving from previous years 10th place finish. Simon is currently training for the Camp Gladiator CG Games, hoping to improve on his teams 9th place finish last year.
Shelby has been a part of the athletic community her whole life. She grew up here in Austin playing soccer for Lonestar Soccer Club. After undergoing exploratory double knee surgery in high school, Shelby decided to pursue a career helping others prevent and recover from injury.
In August 2014 Shelby graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. After graduation she went on to receive her massage license from Lauterstein-Conway Massage School.
Shelby is also CrossFit Level 1 certified and is a personal trainer at Camp Gladiator Arena. In her spare time, Shelby enjoys competing in CrossFit competitions and is aiming to make regionals in 2016. She also enjoys Netflix weekends with her dog Finnley.
